I went look through my external HD and stumbled upon old pieces from 2006 or something.
It actually happened to me. I got stood up so I doodled on the table paper thing found in a Korean restaurant. Alone.
Oh, just go ahead laugh. Laugh, people.

I happened to pull an all nigher. I felt like to draw something at Tegaki. I drew, combining The Fairly OddParents and Araki style (best known for his manga series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure). Based on this reference from his artbook. I feel something missing after I finished drawing it: my original Tegaki piece…
I turned it into JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga cover in Photoshop. I am happy with the result.
Note: In Japan, “The Fairly OddParents” is renamed as “Oops! Fairy Parents” (Oops!フェアリーペアレンツ).
I stumbled upon on Chatroulette few nights ago. It’s some kind of service that pairs up users online into one-to-one chat with webcam, randomly. Beware, you will see a lot of disgusting webcams of wanking. I had to hold the sign, “COCK FREE” to prevent normal people from skipping me.
This Chinese student saw my sign and laughed. We began a conversation. We found out that we halt from the same hometown. I explained to him that I am poor at Chinese, but he reads English well. He typed Chinese and I typed English.
Modern China he described sounds rather depressed. The government and officials are full of corruptions. The gap between rich class and poor class is too big. People, even college students, aren’t allowed to “think freely”, due to the media censorship.
He’s surprised when I told him that half of Americans like Obama and other half don’t. I explained him about the racial discrimination (against Chinese) in America. He told me that in Modern China, they treat foreigners as first class, non-Han ethnic minorities as second class, and Han people as third class (he and I are Han).
Interestingly, when we happened to talk about Koreans. He said that South Korean students have bad manners in Beijing, e.g. being drunken and shouting in public. Japanese students have very good manners. Chinese students are lack of manners.
It’s something I learnt new about mainland China.
